GET TO KNOW FINNUH BEFORE PLAYING MAYHAM 2023

We’d like to introduce you to FINNUH - Sebastian.

FINNUH, please share how you got started as we would love to know more about your story!
-I’ve been making music for a long time, first being inspired by early skrillex and dubstep on youtube. If anyone remembers the Quantum Dubstep channel on youtube, that was my shit. For a time I moved away from dubstep and mainly focused on trap music, but the past few years I’ve been getting more involved with the scene and rediscovered my love for dubstep.

What are you most proud of when it comes to your brand?

-I try to represent my home town of Houston in everything I do. I grew up listening to DJ Screw and Houston rap. I want to help push that sound through my music. Even the name “Finnuh” comes from the fact that everyone in the south uses the word “finna” - like “fixing to”.

What are your goals as an artist?

-My main goal is to make music that is undeniably good. I want to make things that are timeless and unique, things that stand out. More concrete goals include playing my first festival and releasing on a big label like Disciple or Bassweight.
