EDM AND BASS MUSIC IS TAKING OFF IN DALLAS!
It is certainly no longer a secret that EDM is blowing up in Dallas right now. Specifically, the bass/dubstep scene over the last 10 years has grown to take over the city with there being a well-known artist in town almost every weekend it feels like. The point being - EDM has become more and more mainstream and Dallas has some incredible venues for you to dance at to enjoy this community and music!
The Dallas dubstep and electronic dance music scene is becoming less and less of a secret with every passing week. Shows are selling out every weekend, full of new and faithful listeners alike who help grow the underground EDM music scene in Dallas.
There are venues where you can check out all kinds of different types of dubstep and EDM, that have been showcasing these sounds for many years. For example, look at where Excision was in 2009, where he barely sold-out House of Blues, which hits ticket capacity at roughly 1750, to where he is now selling out Toyota Music Pavilion, which holds around 8000 people. The EDM scene has clearly grown exponentially.
This is truly insane to see and proves that the Dallas bass scene specifically has blown up. And boy oh boy has it been fun to witness! If you’re trying to soak up the good vibes, try these venues that have housed some of the most aspiring and talented DJs in EDM’s history.
We highly recommend you check out the dance floors at the following venues:

Get in on the drum circle on Wednesday nights, and then get down with headbangers like The Widdler, Jantsen, Zinnia, and Champagne Poppers on the weekends.
The Lizard Lounge, 2424 Swiss Ave, is notorious for being the dance spot until 4 a.m. Thank you to the EDM Gods for that extra two hours of dancing!
