Celebrating 6 Years of Raving in Dallas!

It's hard to believe that six years have passed since we embarked on this electrifying journey filled with many unforgettable moments in Dallas. We've come a long way since our very first event (remember Helicopter Showdown + SweetTooth in December 2017?!), and we're immensely grateful for everyone who has been part of our adventure.

The Dallas EDM community is a vibrant community of individuals who unite to celebrate music, dance, art, and life. This Dallas rave community has roots that trace back to the late '80s, and in recent years, it has blossomed into a flourishing movement. To us, a rave is a Radical Audio and Visual Experience, and it's a sentiment we wholeheartedly embrace.

Our journey with HAM has taken us through some iconic venues in Dallas, however, one thing has remained constant: Dallas loves to dance. It's in our DNA.

Each opportunity we've had to celebrate life through music has propelled us to push the boundaries of our community. Whether it's the artists we've had the privilege to host, the meticulous production of our shows, or the unwavering commitment to everyone's safety, we leave no stone unturned in crafting what could be the most incredible night of your life.Dancing with friends can be an ecstatic experience, a joyful celebration of connection and freedom. The fusion of music, movement, and camaraderie creates a euphoric sense of unity. Dancing together strengthens our bond with one another and with the music, offering a liberating avenue for fun and self-expression. Studies have even shown how the booming basslines get people grooving and moving more!

Over the past six years, we've witnessed an array of remarkable events, from intimate local shows to wild sold out nights. Our roster of artists have played some of the most unique sounds, and we've been fortunate to witness incredible live performances. Some of your favorites, like Ace Aura, Mashbit, Perry Wayne, and many more, actually graced our stage for the first time! Seeing so many artists that have played with us take off over the last few years has been incredible.

The Green Elephant, with your help, was transformed into Dallas' favorite underground EDM club and officially ranked among the "Top 100 Bars in Dallas." We've hosted hundreds of raves, collaborated with countless local artists / headliners, and grown faster than we could have imagined. None of this would have been possible without The Green Elephant, who welcome the community and made sure we are all safe.

We were also blessed to have the historic Granada Theater welcome our community in with open arms this year (2023). Yes, the HAMFAM hosted multiple epic nights of dubstep and EDM in the same venue that many legends have played (Billy Eilish, Wu-Tang Clan, System of a Down, + many more)! A LOT has changed over this past year and we don't plan on slowing down any time soon...The last six years haven't been without challenges, especially with the impact of COVID-19. Yet, we've persevered, keeping the music alive and the party going. We owe our existence to our incredible fans, the devoted ravers who showed up at every event, the tireless promoters, the gifted DJs and producers who supplied us with unforgettable beats, and the venues that embraced our community. Shoutout to those true HAMFAM members who even inked their loyalty with tattoos!

As we look ahead to the next six years and beyond, our commitment remains unwavering. We aim to continue bringing the best of electronic music to Dallas and provide a safe, thrilling environment for everyone to enjoy.
